Remember when I confessed my hoarding of nail polishes? I must admit I’m all about getting a manicure when the chance is given. In reality I rarely get this opportunity unless it’s for a wedding, and even then it’s only when I’m actually in the wedding. I think most women can agree with me on this one. Sally Hansen Hard As Nails French Manicure kit provides us with a fun do-it-yourself professional manicure.
I was hesitant at first to try this. Worried there would be streaking or chipping, and thinking, “will those white strips really stick?” I’m here to show you, step by step exactly how to dress up your boring nails.
Shake gently. Apply one coat of Natural White to nail tip above nail guide. Start at one side, stroking on a slant to the center. Allow to dry thoroughly, then gently lift guide off nail.
Shake Natural Color gently. Brush 1-2 coats over nails, letting each coat dry before applying the next one.
Apply UV Top Coat to protect chipping, fading or yellowing. Voila you’re finished.
This kit has 12 (6 manicure and 6 pedicure) application strips. No worries though, I found more strips at my local Sally Beauty for only $2/15 applications. White Tip, Sheer Color and UV Top Coat. Nearly Nude, French Shimmer, Sheerly Opal and Sheer Romance (pictured) are shades you can pick from for only $6.50. I love the Sheer Romance and Nearly Nude against my fair complexion.
